During a period of unprecedented growth, I played a key role in shaping the Town of Castle Rock’s event policies to accommodate its expanding population and diverse event landscape. My efforts led to the creation of a comprehensive event management framework that has become an industry benchmark.

• Policy Development & Guidebook Creation – Led the development of a large-scale events and sponsorship program alongside a streamlined permitting process for external events, culminating in the creation of the Special Events Policy Guidebook to enhance event operations.

• Process Analysis & Benchmarking – Conducted extensive process analysis and municipal benchmarking, collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure policies were effective, scalable, and adaptable to the town’s evolving needs.

• User-Friendly & Industry Recognized – Designed the guidebook in a magazine-style, easy-to-read format, earning industry awards and recognition for its clarity and functionality. The guidebook has been seamlessly implemented across multiple departments, setting a new standard in event management.
